After making this pie, I have challenged myself to come up with a dessert each week and Yom Tov that is inspired by the Parsha or holiday. This “Har Sinai Ice Cream Pie” is easy and fun to make. Recipe below:

1-graham cracker or oreo crust

1- 1.5 quart of ice cream, softened

1/4 -1/2 cup peanut butter (depending on your taste)

2- of your favorite candy bars, chopped

1 bottle of Magic shell

2- mini butterfingers (for the tablets)

m&ms and sprinkles (for the “flowering” of Mt Sinai)

In a large bowl combine chopped candy bars and the  softened ice cream. Put half of the ice cream/candy mixture into crust. Spread a layer of peanut butter over the ice cream. (You may have to warm the peanut butter slightly to get to to a spreadable consistency) Add the rest of the ice cream/candy mixture on top of the peanut butter. Put the pie into the freezer for  5- 10 minutes to hardened. (it does not need to be frozen solid, but not runny). Remove pie from freezer. Pour magic shell over the pie. Decorate with butterfinger “tablets” and m&m and sprinkles “flowers”. Return to the freezer for at least 1 hour before enjoying.
